Local moving in La Jolla CA is based on an hourly rate which is incremented by a quarter of an hour. We don’t charge you until our movers arrive, and your time stops when the last piece of furniture is exactly where you would like it.
For weekends and holidays the same rates below apply:
The rate for two men, all the equipment and a moving truck:
$75/hour
The rate for three men, and a fully equipped moving truck.
$105/hour
In instances of larger moves, it’s often necessary to perform a move with more than three men. Not only is it the amount of furniture that creates the need for more men, but if there is an excessive amount of stairs, and elevator or a steep driveway incline, having more men will not only get your move completed quicker, but it will save you money, since the rate for the extra man is discounted at $30.00/hour per man.
